Answers to some of the most commonly asked questions about our fudge and soft nougat

Does your fudge and soft nougat need to be refrigerated and how is it best stored?

Generally refrigeration is not required so long as it is stored in a cool dry environment away from direct sunlight. Ideal storage temperature is around 20 degrees C. If fudge gets warm it will soften and will firm up without deteriorating once it cools. In warm / humid conditions product can be stored in the fridge in an airtight container to prevent the edges drying. Similarly in a pantry etc., once packets are opened  product is best stored in an airtight container.

What is the shelf life of your fudge and soft nougat?

Keeping in mind that we produce fresh Fudge and Soft Nougat, when stored correctly, our Fudge has a “USE BY” of 24 weeks and 36 weeks in the case of Soft Nougat.
